It reminds me of the shift to Zoom during COVID, positive in that it opened up new possibilities but also sparked complaints about what we lost—those in-between moments, like the walk to the elevator, where a casual comment could spark a breakthrough. If AI starts attending meetings for us, do we risk losing even more connection and innovation? How will an AI know what constitutes a “good idea” or what I’d want to know if I didn’t even realize it was relevant and didn’t prompt it in advance? More likely meetings will become my people (AI agents) need to meet with your people (AI agents) before anything actually gets done …. a LOT to think over
